Description

In honor of the Centennial Anniversary of Texas' independence, the U.S. Mint issued commemorative silver half dollars from 1934-1938. Offered are (3) of these elaborately designed commemorative coins, all dated 1934. A proud Bald Eagle adorns the obverse of these half dollar coins, while the reverse is an ornate display with images of Texas "Founding Fathers" Sam Houston and Stephen Austin, flanking a winged angel in front of the Alamo. Showing pleasing luster and nice detail definition, these coins range (AU to BU).
