Starting the 1953 World Series with a bang, familiar combatants from the Bronx and Brooklyn combined for five home runs in what resulted in a 9-5 Yankees triumph. Encapsulated and Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA, this full printer’s proof ticket was designed as the prototype for vouchers used at Yankee Stadium that day. The lone graded specimen, this one has rounded corners, printed event details, stars-and-stripes themed “top hat” logos and the facsimile signature of club president Daniel R. Topping. This colorful relic presents much nicer than the technical grade suggests! The absence of section, row and seat identifiers confirms its status as a printer’s proof.
