Description

While the 9-11 terrorist attacks brought America to a temporary standstill, it wasn’t long before the nation displayed a strong reserve and patriotic fervor that saw soldiers, civilians and celebrities, alike, back on their feet in no time. For San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds, the temporary stoppage had no ill effects, as he had reached 63 home runs before the hiatus and launched 10 more afterwards. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this full ticket was issued at San Francisco’s Pacific Bell Park for a regular season finale in which Bonds delivered his record 73rd home run of the season. Originally scheduled for September 16, the contest was pushed back to October 7 in the wake of the 9-11 attacks and subsequent respite. The crisp voucher features printed seating/event details, strong perforations and a clean reverse.
